The transfer or allotment of any servant to panchayat under section 175 shall not

affect-

1. (a) any obligation or liability incurred or default committed before such transfer or allotment by such servant while acting or purporting to act in the discharge of his duties as such servant; and
2. (b) any investigation, disciplinary action or remedy in respect of such obligation, liability or default and any such investigation, disciplinary action or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced in accordance with the law applicable thereto before such transfer or allotment by such authority as the State Government may by general or special order specify in this behaf. Transfer of rights and liabilities in respect of property transferred to Panchayat. Obligation or liability of servants transferred under section 175 not affected.
