Taking over of charge of Centre for Post-graduate Instruction and Research

(1) From such date as may be fixed by the University in consultation with the University of Bombay, the University shall take over charge of the Centre for Post-Graduate Instruction and Research operating in Goa and all rights, interests, titles and liabilities vested in that Centre immediately before that date, shall vest in the University. (2) The University may, as and when it deems fit, declare that the Center taken over by it under sub-section (1) shall be closed with effect from such date as maybe specified in the declaration and that Center shall be deemed to be closed accordingly: Provided that any student who was studying in that Center immediately before that date, shall be permitted to complete his course of study and the University shall provide him instructions, teaching and training for a period of five years from that date and such student shall be eligible to take such examination: Provided further that any other student who was eligible for any examination of the University of Bombay immediately before that date may take such examination.
