Pro-Vice-Chancellor

  1. (1) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor in such manner and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be specified by the Statutes.
  2. (2) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor appointed under sub-section (1) shall discharge his duties in addition to his duties as a Professor.
  3. (3) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall assist the Vice-Chancellor in discharging day-to-day duties as and when required by the Vice-Chancellor.
