Provisions not to be derogatory to certain laws

The Provisions of this Act shall be in addition to and not in derogation of the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1947 (No. 2 of 1947) Indian Penal Code, 1860 (No. 45 of 1860), Indian Forest Act, 1927 (No. 27 of 1927), the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915 (No. 2 of 1915), essential Commodities Act, 1955 (No. 10 of 1955) or any other law for the time being in force and nothing contained herein shall exempt any person from any proceeding which might apart from the sections under this Act, be instituted against him.
