Definitions

In this Chapter unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) "construction" means all activities pertaining to the construction of a work and includes excavation, filling, levelling and other allied activities. Any person who intends to undertake the establishment of colony within the meaning of clause (a) of section 24 shall apply in form I to the Collector within whose jurisdiction the land is situated for the grant of a licence. The application should be accompanied by the treasury challan in token of payment of licence fee in the treasury.
