Amendment to Section 48

In clause (a) of sub-section (1), after "as the case may be" and before "and" insert "or may impose as a penalty a sum not exceeding two hundred rupees and may order the confiscation of articles which are seized." Section 1.- For sub-sections (2) and (3), substitute the following, namely :-- "(2) It extends to and shall be in force in the whole of Madhya Pradesh." Section 2.- In clause (a) for "the Mahakoshal region" substitute "this State". Section 3.- For "the Mahakoshal region" occurring twice substitute "this State." Section 6.- For "the Mahakoshal region" substitute "Madhya Pradesh."
