Appointment of Officers, Teachers and Employees

(1) Subject to the provisions of the Act, the members of the staff of the University shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board, (2) The procedure of selection of officer, teacher and other employees of the University, unless otherwise provided in the Act, shall be as prescribed in the statute, (3) All matters relating to superannuation and re-employment of the University employees shall be as may be prescribed. Explanation: For the purposes of the sections 40 the word "officer" shall not include the Chancellor of the University.
