Penalty for solemnizing marriage contrary to section 4

Whoever knowingly and willfully registers, any marriage solemnized, contrary to and in violation of the conditions of section 3 shall on conviction thereof, be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year and with fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees.
