Arrest and procedure for offenses against certain sections

(1) If any person commits an offense under section 38 or section 39, which causes obstruction in the working of the ropeway, or commits an offense punishable with imprisonment under section 40, then such person may be arrested without warrant by any employee of the promoter or by any police officer or any other person such as the employee or police officer may call for assistance. (2) Any person arrested in this manner shall be produced as soon as possible before the Magistrate having jurisdiction for trial or for the trial of the offense committed by him.
