Powers and duties of Council

Powers and duties of Council. Subject to the provision of this Act, the Council shall exercise the following powers and perform the following duties:-

1. (i) To act as an advisory body in all matters relating to Horticulture University.
2. (ii) To review broad policies and programmes of the Horticulture Universities and to suggest measures for the improvement and development of such University.
3. (iii) To act as a Co-ordinating body between Horticulture Universities established in the State by law.
4. (iv) To exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be notified by the State Government.
