Governing Council.

There shall be a Governing Council consisting of the following members, namely:-

1. (1) the President;
2. (2) the Vice-President who shall be the Minister incharge of Medical, Health and Family Welfare;
3. (3) the Director of the Institute who shall be the Secretary;
4. (4) The Secretary to Government, Health, Medical and Family Welfare;
5. (5) The Secretary to Government, Finance and Planning (Finance-Wing);
6. (6) a nominee of the University Grants Commission;
7. (7) The Director General of Health Services, Government of India;
8. (8) The President, Medical Council of India or his nominee;
9. (9) The Vice-Chancellor, 1Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana;
10. (10) The Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University, Hyderabad;
11. (11) The Vice-Chancellor, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad;
12. (12) One member to be nominated by the Vice-President from among the Financing Agencies;
13. (13) The Dean of the Faculty of the Institute;
14. (14) Two members to be nominated by the Nizam’s Charitable Trust;
15. (15) Two members of Faculty of the Institute to be nominated by the Vice-President; and
16. (16) Four members to be elected by the Academic Council.
