Appeal Against orders on merit

Any dependent parent aggrieved by an order passed by the Designated Authority may prefer an appeal before the Senior Citizens Commission within a period of forty-five

1. (45) days from the date of receipt of such order: Provided that the Senior Citizens Commission may also entertain an appeal after a period of forty-five
2. (45) days from the date of receipt of the order, if the dependent parent demonstrates sufficient cause for the delay.
