Insertion of new section

Insertion of new section 55-A. 8. After section 55 of the Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Act, 1976 (hereinafter in this Part referred to as President’s Act 19 of 1976), the following section shall be inserted, namely:— President’s Act 19 of 1976. “55-A. Application of the Act to Music, Fine Arts and Performing Arts Colleges.—The Government may, by notification, direct that any of the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder shall apply to the Music, Fine Arts and Performing Arts Colleges to such extent and subject to such modifications and restrictions as may be specified in the notification.”.
