Restrictions on period of office of certain members of University Authorities

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or the Statutes there under, a person nominated or elected to be a member of any of the University Authorities specified in Section 17 in his capacity as the member of a particular body or as the holder of a particular appointment shall hold office so long only within the period of office prescribed by this Act or the Statutes there under for the members of such Authority as he continues to be the member of that body or the holder of that appointment, as the case may be.
