Functions of the Senate

Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Senate shall perform the following functions : (a) of making Statutes, and of amending and repealing Statutes, subject to confirmation by the Chancellor ; (b) of considering and cancelling Ordinances; and (c) of considering and passing resolutions on the annual report, the annual accounts and the financial estimates; and shall perform such other functions as may be defined by this Act or the Statutes.
