Extension Education Council

There shall be an Extension Education Council consisting of the following, namely:- Extension Education Council1the Vice-ChancellorEx-officio Chairman2the Secretary to Government incharge of the Agriculture DepartmentMember3the Directors of Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Fisheries Department of the Government and Chief Conservator of Forests, Rajasthan (depending upon extension mandate and programmes of the University)Member4 all Directors of the UniversityMember5all Deans of the FacultiesMember6all University Heads of the departments, all Zonal Directors and all programme Coordinators of Krishi Vigyan Kendras within the jurisdiction of the UniversityMember7two eminent persons in the field of extension education from outside of the University nominated by the ViceChancellor for any particular meeting in accordance with the requirement of the agendaMember8three progressive farmers having specialization in general agriculture, horticulture or other allied branches to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor for their specialized knowledge and experienceMember9one representative each of the following organizations as per request of the Vice-Chancellor:- Member9aRural Development Department of the Government9b Co-operative Department of the Government;9c State Agro-Industries Development Corporation;9dIrrigation Department of the Government9eFertilizer Corporation of India; 9fNational Seeds Corporation; any other Agro-Industries or AgroService Organizations;10the Director, Extension EducationSecretary Explanation.- For the purposes of this sub-section, expression Secretary to the Government in-charge means the Secretary to the Government in-charge of a department and includes an Additional Chief Secretary and a Principal Secretary when he is in-charge of that department.
