17. Penalties for contravention of provisions of this Act.-

(1) Any aggregator who contravenes the provisions of this Act or rules made thereunder or who fails to comply with the provisions of this Act or any rules made thereunder, the State Government may, impose a fine upon an aggregator, which may extend up to five lakh rupees for the first contravention and up to fifty lakh rupees for subsequent contravention. (2) In case of non-payment, fine shall be recoverable by the method as prescribed in Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Act No. 15 of 1956).
