Provided further that the Institute shall observe at its first meeting such procedure in regard to the transaction of business as the State Government may, by order, specify.

Objects of the Institute The objects of the Institute shall be,-

1. (a) to create a centre of excellence for providing medical care, educational and research facilities of highest order in the field of medical sciences in all specialities;
2. (b) to develop patterns of teaching at various levels of medical education to set a high standard of medical education;
3. (c) to bring together, as far as may be, in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity;
4. (d) to attain self-sufficiency in postgraduate medical education to meet the State’s needs for specialists and medical teachers;
5. (e) to focus on integrative medicine strategy to find evidence for complementary solutions for better outcomes at clinical and public health levels; and
6. (f) to develop research facilities to solve the health issues of Rajasthan State.
