Governing Body

There shall be a Governing Body consisting of the following members, namely:-

1. (1) the President;
2. (2) the Secretary In-charge to the Government in the Department of Medical Education, who shall also be the Vice-President of the Institute and Vice-Chairman of the Governing Body and shall chair the meeting of the Governing Body in the absence of the President;
3. (3) the Director of the Institute;
4. (4) the Secretary In-charge to the Government in Finance Department or his representative not below the rank of Joint Secretary;
5. (5) the Commissioner, Medical Education Department, Government of Rajasthan;
6. (6) the Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
7. (7) the Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
8. (8) the Director, Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur, or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
9. (9) the Director, Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
10. (10) the Director, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
11. (11) the President, IIHMR University, Jaipur or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
12. (12) the Director of Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur or his duly authorised representative, provided that the representative holds the rank of Professor and has not less than seven years of experience as a professor;
13. (13) the Director (Public Health), Medical and Health Department, Government of Rajasthan;
14. (14) the Vice-Chancellor, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences;
15. (15) all Deans of the Institute -ex-officio; and
16. (16) one member of junior level faculty of the Institute, to be nominated by the President.
