Powers exercisable in case of urgency with regard to canals situate beyond Punjab

In respect of any canal situate beyond the limits of Punjab the State Government may, by notification published in the official Gazette, declare that the powers exercisable by a collector under section 54 may, under the circumstances there specified, be exercised by the Collector or other authorized officer within the limits of Punjab for all or any of the purposes of such canal.
