Powers as regards canals creeks situate partly without the limits of Punjab

Any or all of the powers exercisable by the State Government under this Act in respect of any canal, river, or creek, may be exercised by such Government in the case of any canal, river, or creek, which is or may at any time be situate partly with and partly without the limits of Punjab and in respect of so much of any such canal, river, or creek, as is within those limits; and in the case of any such canal, river or creek, the State Government may by notification, and notwithstanding the provisions of section 2, declare what sections of this Act shall be applicable thereto.
