Power to exempt.

(1) The State Government may, by notification, exempt either generally or subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be specified in such notification and for reasons to be recorded therein, any housing, development or improvement scheme, or class of housing, development or improvement schemes, from all or any of the provisions of this chapter. (2) The State Government may by notification exempt any construction raised by any department of the Central Government form all or any of the provisions of this Act.
