Decision of objections and publication of the sanctioned scheme
Punjab Development of Damaged Areas Act, 1951(1) After considering the objections, if any, which may be received by the Trust during the period prescribed, the Trust may approve the scheme with or without modifications. (2) As soon as the scheme has been approved by the Trust, it shall submit the scheme and a statement of objections received to the Central Government, and the Central Government may modify the scheme, if necessary. (3) The Central Government shall cause the scheme, either in original or modified by it, to be published in the Official Gazette, and upon such publication as the sanctioned scheme. (4) The publication under sub-section (3) shall be concise evidence that a scheme has been duly framed and sanctioned. (5) The provisions of the Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922, shall apply, to the extent they are applicable, to all schemes framed and sanctioned under this Act in so far as they do not conflict with or are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act.
