Statutory text
(1) If any person, without the permission of the Trust, erects, re-erects, adds to, or alters any building in contravention of any scheme sanctioned by the Trust under this Act, for any damaged area, the Chairman of the Trust may— (a) by a written notice, direct that the building, alteration, or addition be stopped; and (b) require such building, alteration, or addition to be altered or demolished, as he may deem necessary. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, no person shall have a right to claim compensation for any damage done in execution of the requisition of the Chairman under the foregoing sub-section.
