This Act regulates private clinical establishments such as nursing homes, clinics and other medical establishments in Odisha. No clinical establishment can be set up or run without a certificate of registration. The Act covers applications, grant or refusal, renewal and revocation of registration, transfer of ownership and appeals, and sets conditions establishments must meet.
