Notice by Court and cost of proceedings :
The ODISHA HINDU RELIGIOUS ENDOWMENTS ACT, 1951(1) Whenever the Trustee or any Religious institution is sued in any Civil or Revenue Court in respect of any property belonging to or given or endowed for the purpose of any Religious institution notice of such Suit shall be given by the Court concerned to the Commissioner at least a month before commencement of the hearing. (2) The costs, charges and expenses incidental to all proceedings before the Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner shall be in his discretion and he shall have full power to determine by whom or out of what funds and to what extent such costs, charges and expenses are to be paid; and the order passed in this regard may be transferred to the Collector for execution and recovery as arrears of land revenue.
