This Act provides for a special survey and settlement of land in Odisha using modern technology, to prepare up-to-date records of rights quickly. Land owners make self-declarations, the land is surveyed, and a draft record of rights is published for objections. After objections are decided, the record of rights is finally published and is presumed to be correct.
