Definition

In this Act unless the context otherwise requires:- (a) “appropriate authority” or “competent authority” means an authority having administrative jurisdiction with whatever designation called and notified by Government from time to time. (1) “Assembly”- means the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. (2) “Gazette” or “the Gazette” – means Nagaland Gazette. (3) “Prescribed” – means prescribed by rules made under this Act. (4) “State Government” – means the Government of Nagaland.
