Restriction on Alienation of Property of Aided Institution.

1. (1) Without prejudice to the generality of the provisions contained in other laws for the time being in force, no transfer, mortgage or lease of any movable or immovable property of an aided educational institution, not being the property specified in the rules, shall be made except with the previous permission of the Government: Provided that where the Government omits or fails to dispose of the application for such permission within sixty days from the date of the receipt of the application in this behalf, the permission shall, on the expiry of the said period, be deemed to have been granted.
2. (2) Any transaction made in contravention of sub-section
