Amendment of section 22

In section 22 of the Principal Act; after substituting a colon for the ful-stop at the end of sub-section (4) the following proviso shall be inserted, namely,— "Provided that the pay and allowances of the officers and servants may be paid in kind in pursuance of the customary practice followed before the merger of Manipur into the Indian Union."
