Amendment of section 4

In section 4 of the Principal Act,— (i) for the existing sub-section (2) and proviso thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely,— "(2) The State Government shall appoint, as the President of the Board, a person who is not disqualified for any of the reasons specified in section 6, for a term of three years : Provided that the same person shall not be appointed consecutively for more than three terms."; (ii) in between the words "Sub-Division" and "professing" occurring in the third line of the proviso to sub-section (3) the words "and such other officer holding a gazetted class II post, under him" shall be inserted.
