Prohibition of keeping nursing home without registration

(1) No person shall carry on a nursing home without being registered in respect thereof under this Act: Provided that any person who is already carrying on a nursing home on the date of commencement of this Act may continue to do so for a period of three months from such date and if he makes an application for registration within that period, till the disposal of such application. (2) Application for registration shall be made to the prescribed authority in the prescribed form and shall be accompanied by the prescribed fee. Incorporation of Nurses Registration Council The State Government may, by notification, establish a Council to be called the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council for carrying out the purposes of this Act.
