Definitions
The Madhya Pradesh Nursingh Act. 1973In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Nursing Home" means any premises used or intended to be used for the reception of persons suffering from any sickness, injury or infirmity and the providing of treatment and nursing for them and includes a maternity home; (b) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act; (c) "register" means the register kept under this Act; (d) "registered medical practitioner" means a medical practitioner registered under any law for the time being in force in India or in any part thereof; (e) "rules" means rules made under this Act. Definitions In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) "Council" means the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council, established under section 3; (b) "Nurse" includes a male nurse; (c) "recognised qualification" means any of the qualifications included in the Schedule to the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 (No. 48 of 1947); (d) "State Register" means a register maintained under section 17 and the expressions "registered" and "registration" shall be construed accordingly.
