Protection of action taken in good faith
The Madhya Pradesh Nursingh Act. 1973No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or any authority or officer for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rule made thereunder. For the purpose of any enquiry under section 15 or section 17, the Council or any committee authorised by rules made, under section 33 shall be deemed to be a Court within the meaning of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 (1 of 1872), and shall exercise all the powers of a Commissioner appointed under the Public Servants (Inquiries) Act, 1850 (37 of 1850), and such enquiries shall be conducted, as far as may be, in accordance with the provisions of section 5 and section 8 of the said Public Servants (Inquiries) Act, 1850 (37 of 1850).
