The amount of cost of the required act shall be recoverable from such person as an arrear of land revenue.

Power to direct alteration or demolition of buildings constructed after the 1st January, 1947

1. (1) The State Government may, if it considers necessary so to do, by order in writing direct the demolition or alteration within the time specified in such order of any building constructed in the sanatorium area [in the Mahakoshal region]1 after the 1st January 1947 and before the commencement of this Act [in the said region]2.
2. (2) On failure to comply with a direction given under sub-section
3. (1) the provisions of sub-section
4. (2) of section 6 shall apply.
