Powers for officers in charge of Borstal Institutions to give effect to orders of certain courts

The officer in charge of a Borstal Institution shall give effect to any order for the detention of any person passed or issued, —

1. (a) by any court or tribunal in any [State or Union territory]2 [ * * * * * ]3 [(b) * * * * * ]4 27-A. Powers of State Government

1. (1) The [State]6 Government may, by general or special order, provide for the removal of any person ordered to be detained to any Borstal Institution or school in any other [State]7 with the consent of the Government of that [State]7.
2. (2) The [State]6 Government may likewise provide, by general or special order, for the detention in a Borstal Institution of any person from any Borstal Institution or school in any other [State]7.
3. (3) The provisions of this Act shall apply to any person detained in accordance with the provisions of sub-section
4. (2) or of section 27.]
