Definitions

Definitions —In these rules, unless the context otherwise, requires; —

1. (a) "Appointing Authority" in respect of the service means the Director of Aviation;
2. (b) "Board" means the Madhya Pradesh Junior Service Selection Board;
3. (c) "Examination" means competitive Examination for recruitment to the Service to be held under Rule 11 of these rules;
4. (d) "Schedule" means a schedule appended to these rules;
5. (e) "Schedule Caste" means any caste race or tribe or part of or group within a caste race or tribe specified as Scheduled Castes with respect to the State of Madhya Pradesh under Article 341 of the Constitution of India;
6. (f) "Schedule Tribes" means any tribe or part of group within a caste or tribe specified as Scheduled Tribes with respect to the State of Madhya Pradesh under Article 342 of the constitution of India.
7. (g) "Service" means the Madhya Pradesh Aviation (Non-Gazetted Service).
