9 . Amendment of section 11 .

In section 11 of the principal Act,— (i) for the words "with fine which may extent to one thousand rupees", the following shall be substituted, namely: — "with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both."; (ii) clause (d) of the proviso shall be omitted.
