The Directors of Instruction

The Directors of Instruction.—(1) 1[The Directors of Instruction]1 shall be whole time officers and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the approval of the Board.

1. (2) The salary and allowances and other conditions of service of each Director shall be such as may be prescribed.
2. (3) Each Director shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for all matters concerning the college or colleges under his control.
3. (4) Each Director shall be responsible for the organisation and conduct of teaching, research and extension education of the college or colleges under his control.
4. (5) Each Director shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
