The Dean

The Dean.—(1) The Dean shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Board.

1. (2) The term of office and the emoluments and other conditions of service of the Dean shall be such as may be prescribed and shall not be varied to his disadvantage after his appointment.
2. (3) The Dean shall exercise such powers and perform such functions of the Vice-Chancellor as the Vice-Chancellor may with the approval of the Board delegate to the Dean.
