[Content provided in document header: Power to inspect the office of municipal council.] (1) The Director of Municipal Administration, Deputy Commissioner or any officer authorised by the Government in this behalf shall have power to inspect the office of any municipal council and call for any information or records of any such municipal council. (2) The officer authorised under sub-section (1) shall submit the records for the orders of Government, if he is satisfied that any order or proceeding of the municipal council or its executive is contrary to law or orders for the time being in force.
