Alluvial land and its liability to land revenue.—

1. (1) Alluvial land formed by the accretion of land or alteration of the course of a river or stream, whether such land is occupied or not, shall be liable to assessment.
2. (2) Any such alluvial land, which is not an accretion to a holding, shall vest in the State Government, and may be disposed of by the Deputy Commissioner in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
