46. Term of office and conditions of service of Adhyaksha and Upadhyaksha. - 1[(1) The term of office of every Adhyaksha and every Upadhyaksha of the Grama Panchayat shall, save as otherwise provided in this Act, be 2[3[thirty months]3]2 from the date of h is election or till he ceases to be a member Grama Panchayat, whichever is earlier.]1 (2) Salary and other conditions of service of Adhyaksha and 1[Upadhyaksha and chairman standing committee ]1 shall be as prescribed. 1.
