Delimitation of territorial constituencies. - The 1[2[Government based on the recommendation of the Karnataka P anchayat Raj Delimitation Commission]2]1 shall, by notification, - (a) divide the area within the jurisdiction of every Zilla Panchayat, for the purpose of election to such Zilla Panchayat into as many signal member territorial constituencies as the number of members required to be elected under section 160; (b) determine the extent of each territorial constituency which shall be a Taluk or part of a Taluk ;and 125 1[Provided that the area comprised in a constituency of a Zilla Panchayat determined under section 124, shall not be divided while determining the extent of each territorial constituency ]1 1.
