146. Assignm ent of functions. - (1) The Government may assign to a Taluk Panchayat, functions in relation to any matters to which the Executive authority of the Government extends or the functions which have been assigned to the State Government by the Central Governme nt. (2) The Government may, by notification, withdraw or modify the functions assigned under this section.
