Penalty for unlawful assumption of title of registered nurse, midwife or health visitor.-Any person who, not being a nurse, midwife or health visitor registered under this Act, assumes or uses the name or title of registered nurse, midwife or health visitor, or uses any name, title, addition, description, or signboard, implying that such person is a registered nurse, midwife or health visitor, as the case may be, shall be punished, on conviction, with fine not exceeding one hundred rupees in the case of a first offence, and with fine, not exceeding three hundred rupees in the case of a second or any subsequent offence.
