Repeal and savings.

(1) The Jammu and Kashmir Common Lands (Regulations) Ordinance, 1956 (Ordinance VII of 1956) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken in the exercise of any power converted by or under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken in the exercise of powers conferred by this Act and any penalty incurred or proceeding commenced under that Ordinance shall be deemed to be a penalty incurred or proceeding commenced under this Act, as if this Act where in force on the day on which such things was done or action was taken.
