Street schemes.

Whenever it appears to the trust that for the purpose of— (i) providing building sites; or (ii) remedying defective ventilation; or (iii) creating new or improving existing means of communication and facilities for traffic; or (iv) affording better facilities for conservancy, within its local area or part thereof, it is expedient to proceed to take action in public interest, the Director shall require the trust to accomplish its responsibility to meet the objectives of the scheme.
