Act to have overriding effect

The provisions of this Act and any regulation made thereunder shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in any other State law for the time being in force or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any State law other than this Act. (1) The Executive Council may create the post of one or more Directors to discharge the specific duties assigned to him/them.

(2) The Director may be an Advocate, an educationist or a former Judicial and Administrative Officer, an Engineer, a Doctor or a person from the field of Management or a person of repute.
