Certificate and documents to be shown to the person on demand

(1) Any owner registered under this Act shall at all times, on demand, produce and show his certificate of registration and any other document required under this Act to:- (a) the prescribed authority or any officer duly authorised by him in this behalf; and (b) any bona fide guest. (2) Any owner who refuses on demand to show his certificate of registration or documents, or allow it to be read by any of the persons authorised, under sub-section (1) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees.
